Red Knights Motorcycle Club PA Chapter XXXII
Welcome to the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter 32, located in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Our membership includes firefighters from Lycoming County and Clinton County Fire Departments.
The Jersey Shore area Red Knights started out in early 2008 with just a handful of firefighters who love to ride and serve their communities. It has since grown to include 39 members and we hope to have many more in 2010.
In 2009 we hosted our first two rides. The first, held in May, was our Red Knights PA XXXII Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ride. We rode that day to remember Brother Howard O. Fausey, Jr. The proceeds from our Memorial ride are designated to help local firefighters in need. Our second ride was a Dice Run that we held at the end of July, riding from Antes Fort to Muncy. We also participated in the Antes Fort Historical Days, hosting a breakfast and holding a raffle. In our second year of fundraising, we were able to make an even larger donation to our club charity, the Children's Burn Unit at the Lehigh Valley Burn Center. We also supported other riders and charities in our area by participating in fundraising rides hosted by other area organizations. We were also very honored to be asked to ride in the Little League World Series Grand Slam parade in Williamsport in August, and several members braved the rain on the 9/11 Memorial ride.
Active membership is open to all firefighting personnel, active or retired, who own or have access to a motorcycle and hold a current valid motorcycle license.
Social Membership is open to Spouses, children, boyfriend or girlfriend of active members.
If you are interested in becoming a Red Knight, you are welcome to join us at our meetings or rides. See the event schedule for information about upcoming events and meetings.
